We know how important networking activities are to conference attendees. We have lined up some awesome social events to provide even more networking! Be sure to sign up when you register!

**Dinner Included**
Set sail on Lake Monona with your ITE friends and the Betty Lou Cruise! Attendees will be treated to a privately charted two-hour boat cruise with dinner and two drink tickets for attendees. Join other ITE members for a short walk from the Concourse Hotel to the boat dock at Lake Monona where the boat will depart into the lake. There has never been a better way to experience Madison than this! From the deck of the Betty Lou, listen to the sound of lapping waves and feel the breeze on your face. Whether you are standing on the open deck or relaxing in our spacious cabin, you have got the best seat in town!
Registration: The cost of this event is $50 per person. The cruise boat will depart from Lake Monona at 6:00PM and return at 8:00PM. Expect to meet with the other attendees in front of the registration table at 5:30PM to begin the 15-minute walk to the pier. Space is limited to the first 36 people to sign up.

Join Justin of Hop Head Tours and your fellow ITE comrades for tours of the Ale Asylum Brewing Company and Next Door Brewing Company in Madison, Wisconsin! Attendees will first depart by bus from the Concourse Hotel to the Ale Asylum where a tour of the facility will be given with samples on the way. Next, patrons will visit the Next Door Brewing Company where additional sampling opportunities and a dinner will be provided in the brewery taproom. Choice of dinner entrée will be provided in advance. Spots are reserved on a first come, first serve basis so make sure you sign-up early!
Registration: The cost of this event is $55 per person. The tour bus will depart the hotel lobby at 5:00PM and return to the hotel at 8:30PM. Check-in begins at bus outside of the hotel at 4:45PM. Space is limited to the first 28 people to sign up.

Get Acquainted Reception

The MWITE 2017 Conference Planning Committee is pleased to announce a friendly golf outing. The outing will be held on Sunday, June 18th, 2017! The event will be a four-person scramble. If you can’t put together a foursome, we will be happy to set you up with other players! Transportation and lunch will be provided for attendees.
Registration: The cost of this event is $50 per person. The bus will depart the Madison Concourse Hotel at 9:00AM, attendees should begin arriving in the lobby at 8:30AM. Attendees will begin teeing off around 9:30AM. The bus is scheduled to depart the golf course at 3:30PM to return to the hotel.

Would you like to learn more about LeadershipITE and meet current and alumni LeadershipITE members? Stop by the LeadershipITE Happy Hour to do just that! Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and the conversation will be plentiful! No sign-up required.
Happy hour will be concurrent with the Traffic Bowl
in the Madison Ballroom.

Take a short walk over to the Madison Children’s Museum to reunite and meet-up with your friends from ITE! The Get Acquainted Reception serves as the kick-off event for the three-day conference. Light appetizers will be served and drink tickets will be provided. Take part is some of the fun activities that museum offers! Enjoy Wisconsin craft beer and a variety of wines while taking in beautiful views of the Wisconsin State Capitol! This event is free for conference attendees and a small fee for guests. See you there!
Registration: The cost of this event is free for all conference attendees. The cost for guests is $25. Guests will need to register to attend. Doors open at 6:00PM for attendees.
Traffic Bowl: Included with Registration

Come cheer on your alma mater or your favorite school! Appetizers will be provided.

Time to unwind after using those brain cells to compete (or watch your friends compete) in the Traffic Bowl! Join the MWITE student chapters for a pizza party!

Registration: Sign-up is required. The cost for attendance is $5. Price includes pizza and soda. Event is open to students and student chapter leaders.

Great Madison MiteY Race

The MiteY Race is modeled after the hit television series “The Amazing Race” in which teams of two people raced around the world in competition with other teams. In our ITE version of this program, teams follow clues to “Pit Stops” where they must complete challenging but fun tasks. The MWITE District is proud to share one of the events that has become a tradition for ITE members and hope you find it as fun and exciting as we have!
We want this event to be fun and fair for all teams. Please remember this is a competitive event, but safety comes first. Please use good judgment and common sense. We want everyone to arrive at the finish line safely!
Registration: Sign-up required and attendance is free. Arrival for the race begins at 4:30PM in the Madison Concourse Hotel Capital A Ballroom with the race kicking off at 5:00PM.
Terrace After Dark - Music and Film Series

Looking for a free event to attend in the Madison area? Take a walk over to the Madison Terrace to enjoy a family friendly film on Monday evening! The nighttime on the Terrace is something truly spectacular. Terrace After Dark blends music and film with warm summer nights in one of Madison’s most popular places.
